excellent central park views and nearby historical attractions
I enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel, which is just a few steps from St Mary the Virgin Church and less than 3 km from Battle Abbey and Battlefield, making it perfect for weekend strolls to rich historical spots, while the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our visit.

A family getaway worth the price
We didn’t buy breakfast as we had an invitation from friends living locally, but the shower was great and the tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked. The grounds looked very nice, and the receptionist was really friendly and welcoming.
It wasn't inexpensive, but still acceptable for families seeking comfort.

missingWrote a review on Jul 23cozy roomstunning viewsfull english breakfastspotty wifi
Had a fantastic 2-night stay in a cozy room with stunning views of the gardens, and the full English breakfast was a treat! The place has a lovely outdoor space for relaxation and a well-stocked bar for unwinding. Just a heads up, the WiFi was a bit spotty, but it didn't really put a damper on our fun. 😊

missingWrote a review on Jul 21friendly staffcomfortable experiencepoor breakfastinconsistent servicinghigh rates
Enjoyed a peaceful stay with a comfortable bed and clean, spacious room. The friendly staff added a welcoming touch, and the dinner provided was exceptionally well-prepared, featuring premium meats. the breakfast options were lacking in variety and quality, and room servicing left much to be desired, with towels carelessly placed rather than organized. The higher rate for the overall experience could be reconsidered.

Comfortable stay with friendly staff
We stayed for one night in a Double Room with Private Bathroom and really enjoyed our time. The room was comfortable, with a good shower and tea and coffee making facilities, which made our stay pleasant. The grounds were lovely and quiet, and the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. the WiFi could use some improvement as it was a bit patchy during our stay.

missingWrote a review on Jun 26friendly staffquaint local shopslimited breakfast options
Had a fantastic getaway with my friends! We explored the nearby Abbey and ventured into quaint local shops. The staff were super friendly, which made our stay enjoyable. Just a heads up, some areas need a little sprucing up. however, it doesn't overshadow the great experience we had.
One downside was that the breakfast options were quite limited and not the best in taste. Quite a few of us weren’t impressed by the fried breakfast.

Lovely staff and great shower, but wi-fi was slow in the lounge area.

The Leeford had some real gems! The staff were lovely, always ready with a friendly chat, making our family feel right at home. Plus, the rooms were clean and spacey – perfect for chilling out after a day of eating local delights!
Now, the WiFi was rubbish. couldn't get a signal in any of the five rooms we snagged. a few decor bits were a tad jaded, and those pesky door locks played hard to get, but it didn’t dampen our spirits too much!

Had an awesome stay with friends! We visited Hastings and the surrounding villages, and the views were stunning. The hotel was cozy and clean with friendly staff. The breakfast was great, and there was plenty of free parking, which was a plus for us.
One downside was that the WiFi was a bit spotty in some areas, which made it hard to plan our day sometimes.
